This company reports bad checks, overdrawn accounts and other negative information to financial institutions which may then prevent you from getting a bank account. The site allows you to order your report free of charge and offers information on how you can improve your record and lessons about responsible banking as well as Identity theft affidavits.

This Consumer Reporting Agency provides reports including tenant reports, employment reports and C.L.U.E. reports on insurance claims you have made. Landlords, potential employers and insurance companies can use these reports. The same site also allows you to order reports to check on medical providers, nursing homes, and run a background check on a variety of service providers such as child care workers or contractors.

Notice: Effective July 12, 2010, PRBC changed its web site so that it is no longer accessible to consumers. Hummingbird does not recommend account "verifications" with PRBC because there is a charge for each account. For approximately $10 per month, consumers may still use secure bill paying through www.accountnow.com, who will automatically report all payments to PRBC to build a credit file with PRBC.
