Vehicle repossessed and you want it back
If you very recently had a vehicle repossessed and need to get it back, you may be able to do so under a few circumstances. If you are able to bring the loan current and pay all costs of repossession and storage since the repossession, you can usually make arrangements with the lender for the return of the vehicle. Additionally, you may be able to get the vehicle back under bankruptcy law, but only an attorney can advise you about this.
Of course, once the vehicle is sold, you have no way of getting it back. Also, because the sale of the vehicle (often at auction) usually pays only a small amount of the debt, the lender may pursue you for the difference.
